Product Design = We look at product development as mashing a few of our favorite things into one beautiful product. This is art not just engineering. You need vision, creativity, and the pursuit to make the best product of its kind. Our trekking pole is adjustable (45"-60") and carries an 8ft fishing rod inside.

We have worked with domestic manufacturers on each portion of our rod to make it not only light and compact, but to perform like a great fly rod and trekking pole. We give credit to not only our creative team but the drive of designers and engineers willing to step up to a challenge.

On the fishing side of our product we knew it needed to be designed by Gary Loomis. (click on the link to learn more about our materials and Gary) He has worked with us from the beginning. He continues to strive for stronger lighter rods that perform to meet our needs and fit in a unique setup.

We decided to use a local injection plastics company Rex Plastics for their drive and willingness to think outside of the box. Great communication is worth spending a little extra for. This assures you get what you asked for, rather than settling for anything but the best.

The machine shop we choose (Mellema) was dedicated to earning our business by working outside of the box. Giving us honest feedback to ensure we would deliver the best product of it’s kind and on time. 

We are blessed to have all these people within 20 miles of our facility. Working closely with our suppliers has 2 meanings for us. We literally walk right onto their production floor and work with their production crew to assure the highest quality products.

We then take all of these raw products and assemble them at our facility allowing us to check the product again before it heads out.
